Cali, Colombia – May 2025 — At 74 years of age, Henry Bueno Sr., affectionately known as El Abuelo Henry, is not chasing fame—but fulfilling purpose. In the twilight of his life, he has found his truest voice—not through singing, but through songwriting. In just a few months, he has penned and produced more than 40 emotionally charged, autobiographical songs, each one echoing a lifetime of love, loss, and unshakable resilience.

Long before melodies found him, El Abuelo Henry was a quiet poet—reflecting on decades lived between Colombia and the United States. His muse and companion, Liliana, urged him to transform his reflections into song. What followed was a flood of memory—an outpouring of stories, melodies, and heartfelt messages inspired by his journey as a father, grandfather, and immigrant. These compositions are living love letters to his five grandchildren: Isabella (19), Daniel (16), Ryan (15), Xavier (2), and Aria (1)—each song a bridge connecting generations.

Though he does not sing and cannot speak due to an obstruction in his vocals, Henry Bueno Sr’s words now sing through others.
